After three years in Houston I realize my shopping pattern has greatly changed. I dislike going to a store if a google and a couple of clicks can bring me goods in the mail.
As Amazon is not very useful in Norway due to Norwegian tax and custom regulations (maybe more on that later), I have turned to China, through ebay.
On ebay I can purchase single items of electronics for a very competitive cost, and as long as I can wait a couple of weeks for delivery, it very often come in under the 200 NOK limit for custom and tax free international shipping.
A bulk of 10 ball bearings is cheaper than one in Norway, LED light strips are available in abundance (I don’t know where to get these in Norway), and the beauty of ebay let’s me know what I am looking for just by searching for something else.
I love my mailbox.
