With Google Trends, I can see what people search for in the world. Taking a closer look at my home country Norway, I search for the term “teknologi”, technology in Norwegian. Google Trends show a graphic of where the term is most searched for in Norway:
Teknologi
Stavanger, the oil town in south-west has a minor lead over Trondheim, the home of the strongest technology university in Norway. The capital Oslo follows, and Bergen (my home town) barely make it to the map. These are the four largest towns in Norway, in order Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Trondheim in decreasing people count.
Innovasjon
Googling the trends of “innovasjon”, innovation in Norway, a skewed picture emerges. Innovasjon Norge (Innovation Norway) is a project funded by the government to fund innovation in new and existing businesses.
I hope they care a whole awful lot, because nobody else seems to care.
